Blue Jackets end 4-game skid as Kent Johnson scores game-winner in 4-3 win at Toronto

Kent Johnson broke a tie at 5:46 of the third period to help the Columbus Blue Jackets defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday in Toronto.

Johnson, put the Blue Jackets ahead 4-3 when he deflected a Cole Sillinger shot at the top of the crease when he got inside position on Maple Leafs defenseman Justin Holl. The goal went to video review and upheld after it was determined that Johnson’s stick was at or below the height of the crossbar when he deflected the puck into the goal.

*Johnson also had an assist.
