The Pittsburgh Pirates today placed right-handed pitcher Trevor Cahill on the 10-day injured list (retro to May 20) with a left calf strain.
As a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Kyle Crick has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list (right triceps strain).
In addition, infielder Ke’Bryan Hayes (left wrist strain) will begin a rehab assignment tonight with Triple-A Indianapolis.
