NHL News: Panthers’ A.J. Greer Fined for Roughing

NEW YORK (Oct. 3, 2025) – Florida Panthers forward A.J. Greer has been fined $2,213.54, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel during NHL Preseason Game No. 80 in Tampa on Thursday, Oct. 2, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

 

The incident occurred at 7:50 of the first period. Greer was assessed a minor penalty for roughing.

 

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
