  • Saturday was the 10th meeting all-time between the Buckeyes and the Bruins and the first since 2001.
  • The Buckeyes held the Bruins to two first downs in the first half.
  • Lorenzo Styles Jr. returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was the Buckeyes’ first kickoff return for a touchdown since Jordan Hall vs. Michigan Nov. 17, 2010 and the first of 100 yards or longer since Ted Ginn Oct. 29, 2005 vs. Minnesota.
  • On the Buckeyes’ third drive of the game, Julian Sayin converted on fourth down and found Bryson Rodgers for an 11-yard touchdown reception. It was Rodgers’ first career touchdown catch.
  • Isaiah West recorded a career-long 38-yard rush at the end of the first half and ended the game with a career-high 61 yards.
  • With 1:19 left in the first half, James Peoples leapfrogged his way to the end zone for a highlight-reel 19-yard touchdown run. It marked Peoples’ first touchdown of the season and the first rushing touchdown of his career. Peoples finished the day with a career-high two touchdowns.
  • Brandon Inniss set a career high with 30 receiving yards.
  • Bo Jackson set a career high with 112 yards on 15 carries, surpassing the 109 he had against Ohio. Jackson now has four career 100-yard games.
  • Twenty-one Buckeyes had at least one tackle in the game, with 17 recording at least one solo stop.
  • The Buckeyes’ Caden Curry blocked a punt in the second quarter. It was the first blocked punt for Ohio State since last season against Northwestern (Nov. 16, 2024).
