Columbus, OH – The Columbus Fury is proud to bring back the SHEroes Among Us Award, presented by Nationwide, an initiative created to honor extraordinary women in Central Ohio who have made significant contributions to their communities. Established in 2024, this prestigious award highlights the impactful work of women who exemplify the spirit of community service and inspire others to give back.

SHEroes Among Us will recognize one honoree at each Columbus Fury home match during the 2025 season. Each award recipient will receive:

• Ten tickets to the match in which they are honored
• A beautifully engraved SHEroes Among Us award
• An autographed Columbus Fury jersey

In addition to being celebrated during the match, honorees will be featured on Columbus Fury’s social media channels and the SHEroes Among Us webpage at columbusfury.com, where nominations can also be submitted.

Nominations Open Now Through April 1, 2025

Residents of Ohio are invited to nominate deserving women who meet the following criteria:

• Exemplify the spirit of community service and make outstanding contributions to the improvement of their community and/or support of a registered 501(c)(3) organization
• Inspire others to engage in community service
• Perform the majority of their community service within central Ohio
• Have completed or continued service within the past 12 months
• Are not previous honorees or self-nominated
