FLUSHING, N.Y., April 2, 2024 – The New York Mets have announced that tonight’s game against the Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to weather. It will be rescheduled for Thursday, April 4 at 1:10 p.m. Gates will open at 11:40 a.m. and parking lots will open at 10:40 a.m.

Fans holding paid tickets for the game originally scheduled to be played at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, may use them for the rescheduled game on Thursday, April 4 at 1:10 p.m.

Season Ticket Members may exchange their ticket for tonight’s postponed game for a 2024 regular season game at Citi Field up until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4. Following the conclusion of Thursday’s game, a digital voucher will be loaded into each attending patron’s My Mets Tickets account (accessed by clicking the Vouchers tab) for any unused tickets. The digital voucher will be accessible beginning on Friday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. Fans may exchange the voucher for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2024 regular season home game at Citi Field (excluding the June 25-26 Subway Series vs the Yankees).

Ticket holders for tonight’s game with a prepaid parking pass will automatically receive a digital parking voucher. Fans that paid for parking on-site for tonight’s game, can visit Mets.com/rain for information on how to receive a digital parking voucher. Digital parking vouchers can be accessed via My Mets Tickets and are redeemable for prepaid parking for another Mets 2024 regular season home game at Citi Field (excluding Mets vs. Yankees, June 25-26; additional blackout dates may apply).

Complimentary tickets to Tuesday, April 2 and those marked “NO RAINCHECK” have no value and do not constitute a rain check. However, these tickets can be utilized to attend Thursday’s rescheduled game.

As a thank you to our fans who entered the ballpark for tonight’s game against the Detroit Tigers, the Mets will provide a voucher for a ticket to another Monday-Thursday Mets 2024 regular season home game at Citi Field (excluding Mets vs. Yankees, June 25-26; as well as Mets vs. Dodgers, May 27-29; additional blackout dates may apply). Only fans who scanned a ticket and entered the ballpark on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 will be eligible for the voucher. The digital voucher will be loaded into each ticket holder’s My Mets Tickets account (accessed by clicking the Vouchers tab) and will be accessible tomorrow morning.
