Ohio State Forward Cotie McMahon Named to Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

Cotie McMahon averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in the Buckeye’s wins against No. 10/9 Indiana and Wisconsin.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday. Sophomore forward Cotie McMahon was named to the Big Ten Honor Roll for the second time this season.

McMahon made a huge impact last week in the Buckeyes’ wins over Wisconsin and No. 10/9 Indiana, averaging 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. She began the week with her fourth-consecutive double-double, recording 15 points, 10 rebounds and adding four assists, a steal and a block against the Badgers. On Sunday against the Hoosiers, McMahon recorded her fifth 20-point game of the season, adding a team-high seven rebounds and five assists, in addition to a pair of steals. She shot 9-of-13 (.692) in the game and was +20. This season, McMahon is averaging 14.2 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game.
