In Week 7, Garrett recorded nine tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and a blocked field goal in a 39-38 win over the Colts, earning AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

All totaled, he finished the regular season with 14 sacks (tied for 7th in the NFL), earning his fifth Pro Bowl and third First Team All-Pro selections.
