DAYTON — The  University of Dayton men’s basketball team returns home for a pair of games at UD Arena this week, starting on Tuesday against Saint Louis.  Game time is 8 p.m. ET.

Dayton, 13-2 overall, improved to 3-0 in the Atlantic 10 and won its 10th straight game Friday at Duquesne 72-62.  DaRon Holmes II had his third double-double in the last seven games with 33 points and 12 rebounds.  Five other Flyers scored at least six points — nine each by Nate Santos and Javon Bennett, eight by Enoch Cheeks and six by both Koby Brea and Isaac Jack.

• Dayton was the preseason favorite in the Atlantic 10 in the annual vote of the league’s coaches and selected media.  The Flyers received 20 of the 25 first-place votes cast.
• UD’s 10-game win streak is its longest since 20 in 2019-20. It is currently the fourth-longest.
