Elly De La Cruz is hitting .308 with 3 homers and 13 RBI and has been the talk of baseball since his callup.
Matt McClain has solidified the Reds shortstop position with his field and stats: .305 average, with 7 homers and 28 RBI.
A very exciting and gritty team, the Reds have played themselves into first place in the NL Central and are very much 2023 playoff contenders.
They lead the tough NL Central Division with a record of 47-39, lead Milwaukee by a game and for a very young team, are a shocking 24-18 on the road.
