COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10/10 Ohio State women’s basketball team (20-3, 9-3 B1G) travels to No. 8/9 Maryland (18-5, 9-3 B1G) on Sunday for the Buckeyes’ third top-10 matchup in 14 days. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the teams’ first meeting of the season. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and FM 97.1.

  • Ohio State travels to College Park with a 20-3 overall record and a 9-3 Big Ten mark after beating Wisconsin 90-67 on the road on Wednesday.
  • Taylor Thierry led all scorers with a career-high 25 points, while Taylor Mikesell had 21 points and Cotie McMahon added 19 points.
  • Mikesell scored her 1,000th point as a Buckeye on Wednesday despite this being just her second season in Columbus, becoming the 36th player in program history to reach this milestone.
  • Maryland holds an 18-5 overall record and a 9-3 Big Ten record after losing at No. 6/6 Iowa on Thursday night by a 96-82 margin.
  • The Terrapins are 4-3 this season when facing a ranked opponent, previously earning wins over then No. 17 Baylor, No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 6 UConn and No. 13 Michigan.
  • Maryland’s conference losses include Nebraska in the Big Ten opener and on the road against then No. 6 Indiana and No. 6 Iowa.
