CINCINNATI — Cincinnati senior guard Landers Nolley II earned a spot on the AAC’s weekly honor roll for his recent performances.
The Atlanta native averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists for the Bearcats in their split against South Florida and Memphis. He had 21 points (sixth of 20-plus this season) in Tampa, including 16 in the second half while finishing a rebound shy of his fourth AAC double-double and third in a row. He followed with 18 against his former Tiger team, all in all shooting 54 percent for the week. His 49.0 percent deep shooting in AAC play leads the league, as does his 24 makes, continuing to up his across-the-board improvements from last year.
Nolley leads UC in scoring (15.5 ppg) and three-point shooting (44.3 percent) while ranking second in rebounds (5.4 rpg).
Cincinnati is off till Saturday, when it heads to Texas to battle Houston on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. ET on CBS.
