The much anticipated 2022-23 season of Cavs basketball will usher in a new era for the Wine & Gold with a young and spirited team ready to LET EM KNOW! The home court action begins when the Cavs host the Washington Wizards in the season Home Opener this Sunday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse!
Fans can expect a lot of fun and excitement in a season that promises to be filled with high-energy on the court, fueled by award-winning game presentation and a line-up of premium giveaways and special theme nights.
All fans in attendance for the Sunday Home Opener will receive a LET EM KNOW t-shirt presented by Cleveland Clinic and a LET EM KNOW rally towel presented by Cleveland-Cliffs.
What’s Happening Around the FieldHouse
Fans can also look forward to some new delicious spaces around Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, as well as some exciting new additions in the coming months, including:
P St. Market Café
Making its debut during the Home Opener, P St. Market Café is a play on Chef Karen Small’sPearl Street Wine Market and Café, her latest restaurant venture with partner Jill Davis (of Toast) which occupies Karen’s former Flying Fig and Market space in Ohio City. The new eatery will replace Small’s former concept, Market at the Fig, in the South Neighborhood on the Street Level Concourse next to Chef Tiwanna Scott-Williams’ Pearl’s Kitchen.
P St. Market Café will remain focused on locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients and will continue to feature some Fig classics like Karen’s Turkey Sandwich and her Corned Beef Rueben, and introduce some new favorites like Tomato Bisque with Grilled Cheese and the P St. House Salad with grilled chicken, glazed bacon and roasted garlic parmesan dressing.

Also new for this season, the CLE/MKT on the Street Level Concourse will feature even more healthier grab and go meals, treats and more, including:
- A fun candy wall
- Locally-sourced vegan ice cream
- Plant-based wraps and salads from previous Taste of Black Cleveland participant Koncious Kuisine
- A Blackened Chicken & Rice Wrap from Pearl’s Kitchen
- The famous Turkey Sandwich from P St. Market Café
Cavaliers Team Shop
The Cavaliers Team Shop is currently in the process of being completely reimagined and will re-open early next year. A Cavs Team Shop satellite location will also be announced in the near future, but in the meantime, ticketed fans can still grab their Cavs gear during home games atTeam Shop stands located in the following locations:

Caesars Sportsbook
The Caesars Sportsbook in the Northwest Atrium will open shortly after the official legalization of sports betting in the State of Ohio on January 1st, 2023. More information coming soon!
2022-23 Season Broadcast Information
Fans can tune into Bally Sports Ohio for all 80 of Cleveland’s non-nationally exclusive regular season games. John Michael is back to call play-by-play and sitting alongside him will be a rotation of analysts including Cavaliers legends and former All-Stars Austin Carr and Brad Daugherty as well as former head coach Mike Fratello. Serena Winters returns as sideline reporter.
Cayleigh Griffin returns to the Cavs Broadcast team as the host of the pregame and postgame editions of Cavaliers Live 30 minutes prior to and immediately following each game. Cavaliers Legend Campy Russell will join Cayleigh at the desk throughout the season, with Carr, Fratello and Winters contributing as well.
The Wine & Gold also will also make 10 national television appearances this season, including:
· 2 games on TNT (Dec. 6 vs. L.A. Lakers and Feb. 2 vs. Memphis).
· 4 games on ESPN (Nov. 2 vs. Boston, Feb. 10 at New Orleans, March 1 at Boston and March 15 vs. Philadelphia).
· 4 games on NBA TV (Nov. 7 at L.A. Clippers, Dec. 26 vs. Brooklyn, March 10 at Miami and March 21 at Brooklyn).
All games will also stream on the Bally Sports App and, beginning this season, Cavs games will be accessible through Bally Sports+, the all-new standalone streaming subscription service from Bally Sports. Fans can sign up for a free trial here.
All Cavaliers 2022-23 regular season games will be broadcast on WTAM 1100 AM and 106.9 FM, as well as WMMS 100.7 FM and across the Cavaliers AudioVerse, with play-by-play announcer Tim Alcorn, game analyst Jim Chones, and studio host for pregame, halftime and postgame Mike Snyder joined by Brad Sellers postgame. WNZN Power 89.1 FM will broadcast all Los Cavs en Español games with Rafa Hernandez-Brito providing the game call.
