During Saturday’s match against Sporting Kansas City,
goalkeeper Eloy Room posted a shutout. This was Room’s
second clean sheet of the season as he previously recorded a shutout against Vancouver Whitecaps FC (February 26). Room made four saves against Kansas City – one off
his season high of five. The Dutch native has started all
eight games this season. Since joining the Black & Gold
in 2019, Room has made 67 regular-season appearances
(all starts), while registering 17 shutouts.
