Blue Jackets 5 Tampa Bay Lightning 2: Oliver Bjorkstrand scores 27th goal in win

The Blue Jackets have had their problems the past two seasons against the two-time defending Stanley cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

But on Thursday night, the young Jackets outplayed and outhustled the champions for a 5-2 win.

What made the win more satisfying is that the CBJ played without several key players: center Sean Kuraly, top defenseman Zach Werenski, defenseman Adam Boqvist and top goal scorer Patrik Laine.

But Oliver Bjorkstrand and the rest of the veterans led the way.

RW Oliver Bjorkstrand recorded his 13th multi-point game of the season with 1-1-2 to extend his points streak to three-straight games (3-3-6).  With 27-29-56 in 79 contests, he has set single-season career highs in goals/points and tied his high in assists (2017-18).
