The senior quarterback tossed three touchdowns and tallied rushing and receiving scores in the 48-14 win over SMU on Senior Day

Ridder celebrated his Senior Day with a virtuoso performance against the Mustangs to lead Cincinnati to its second-ever 11-0 start, becoming the first Bearcat to score a touchdown passing, rushing and receiving in the same game.
He finished with 274 yards and three touchdowns on 17-of-23 passing to go along with 46 yards and another score on the ground. His first career touchdown catch came on a trick play pass from senior wide receiver Jordan Jones at the 10:59 mark in the third quarter.
Ridder zipped a 53-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver Tyler Scott on UC’s first play from scrimmage. He later added a pair of touchdown passes to senior receiver Alec Pierce and a 40-yard touchdown dash on a 4th-and-1 keeper.
This season, Ridder has passed for 2,699 yards and 25 touchdowns, while rushing for 335 yards and five scores.
Ridder has totaled 11,753 yards of total offense in his career. He is approaching the AAC record of 11,802753 set by Quinten Flowers at USF and the Cincinnati school record of 11,930 set by current QB coach and passing game coordinator Gino Guidugli (2001-04). Ridder has 82 career touchdown passes, recently breaking Guidugli’s UC career mark (79).
He was also named a Manning Award Star of the Week. His 99.3 QBR for the week was the second-highest in the nation.
BROOKS NAMED TO AAC HONOR ROLL
Senior defensive tackle Curtis Brooks totaled two sacks and three tackles as Cincinnati held SMU to just 199 yards and 66 passing yards.
