Temple QB D’Wan Mathis Named to American Athletic Conference Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – The American Athletic Conference announced today that quarterback D’Wan Mathis has been named to the Week Five Honor Roll for his performance against Memphis. Mathis completed 35 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns, adding on 53 more rushing yards in the Homecoming win over Memphis. The completions, passing yards, rushing yards, and touchdowns were all career-high marks for Mathis. Mathis connected with 11 different receivers in spite of the fact that he has missing one of his top weapons, WR Randle Jones.

Since returning from injury, Mathis has thrown for 614 yards and five touchdowns over the past two games.
