COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and the National Hockey League announced today the start times for the 2021-22 regular season in which the club will play 82 games, including 41 home dates at Nationwide Arena.
The Blue Jackets will kick off their 21st NHL season on Thursday, October 14 against the Arizona Coyotes at Nationwide Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. ET. The club will open the season with five of its first six games at home with the lone road contest coming at Detroit against the Red Wings on Tuesday, October 19.
