Cleveland Indians News: announce July 11 game vs. Kansas City postponed; rescheduled as part of a traditional doubleheader on Sept. 20

CLEVELAND, OH — The Cleveland Indians announced that the (July 11) game against the Kansas City Royals has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be rescheduled as a traditional doubleheader on Monday, September 20 with two 7-inning games starting at 5:10 p.m. ET. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. ET and only fans with tickets to the September 20 contest will be able to attend. **The attending patron of today’s contest will be able to exchange into one of 21 game options, including the September 20 doubleheader. **

Fans holding tickets to the originally scheduled September 20 game who want to attend both games of the doubleheader may do so and will have the same seat for both games. Fans holding July 11 tickets purchased through must exchange into one of the 21 options. Fans are able to use the full value of their July 11 tickets in their My Indians account when exchanging into the designated games (additional fees may apply). Tickets must be exchanged by Friday, September 10 by noon.

Season Ticket Holders

Season Ticket Holders can exchange for tickets to any game that is available through the My Tickets Exchange program starting today at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Single-game Ticket Purchasers purchasers holding tickets dated July 11 must exchange their tickets online only at for one of 21 different game options, including the September 20 traditional doubleheader. Fans can start making exchanges through their My Indians Tickets account starting tomorrow, July 12 at 9 a.m. ET. All District Tickets and tickets purchased at the Progressive Field Box Office must call 216-420-HITS to exchange.

  • Ticket exchanges are final and must be completed in one transaction. All tickets must be exchanged into the same game. Tickets must be exchanged into one of the 21 options by Friday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
