Ohio State Football News: Chris Olave & Garrett Wilson on Biletnikoff Watch List

Star receivers will form the top receiving tandem in college football in 2021

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State’s outstanding receiving duo of senior Chris Olave and junior Garrett Wilson have today been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.

The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the outstanding receiver in college football. The winners of the 2021 Biletnikoff Award will be announced as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on December 9, 2021.

Olave, first-team all-Big Ten Conference in 2020, enters the season with 111 career receptions, 1775 receiving yards and 22 receiving touchdowns. He has a career 16.0 yards per reception average. Olave is from San Ysidro, Calif., and Mission Hills High School.

Wilson, also first-team all-Big Ten in 2020, enters the season with 73 career receptions for 1,155 yards and 11 touchdowns. His yards per reception average is 15.8. Wilson is from Austin, Texas, and Lake Travis High School.
