MLB announces National Anthem performances for 2021 All-Star Week in Denver

Hamilton on Broadway Actor, Christopher Jackson & Three-time Grammy Award Nominees, The Avett Brothers to Perform U.S. National Anthems; Canadian Multi-Platinum Star, Jess Moskaluke to Sing Canadian National Anthem

Major League Baseball on Saturday announced three-time Grammy Award nominee recording artists, The Avett Brothers will perform the National Anthem prior to the 2021 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. On Tuesday, Grammy Award-winning and Tony nominated actor, Christopher Jackson will perform the National Anthem, while multi-platinum Canadian country artist, Jess Moskaluke will sing the Canadian National Anthem at the 91st MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on July 13 in Denver, Colorado.

Christopher Jackson is a Tony Award nominated actor and a Grammy & Emmy Award-winning songwriter/composer, best known for starring as George Washington in the critically acclaimed, award-winning musical, Hamilton, on Broadway. Jackson will perform the National Anthem prior to the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday, July 13.

The Avett Brothers entered the music spotlight with their 2009 song, “I And Love And You” and their most recently released album titled, The Third Gleam debuted #1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart. The North Carolina native folk-rock band consists of multi-instrumentalist brothers, Scott & Seth along with bandmate, Bob Crawford. The Avett Brothers will perform the National Anthem prior to the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 12. Canadian country artist, Jess Moskaluke will sing the Canadian National Anthem prior to Tuesday’s All-Star Game. The multi-platinum selling artist’s 2021 album, The Demos included her first #1 hit, “Country Girls”.

The 2021 T-Mobile Home Run Derby will be held on Monday, July 12 at Coors Field in Denver, CO and broadcasted live by ESPN and MLB.com beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (MT). The 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, will be played on Tuesday, July 13 at Coors Field in Denver, CO and broadcasted live by FOX Sports beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (MT).
