The Padres took won their 3rd straight game with their 7-5
victory over the Reds…starter Miguel Diaz worked 2.0
innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, and he was followed
by Daniel Camarena, who worked 2.2 IP of 4-hit,
3-run ball in his Major League debut…Nabil Crismatt
worked 3.0 scoreless innings with just 1 hit allowed.
▶ In the bottom of the 8th, Ha-Seong Kim hit a
go-ahead 2 run home run…Tommy Pham went
3-for-5 with 3 doubles, and Jake Cronenworth
homered in the 3rd inning (his 8th of the year).

SERIESLY With yesterday’s win, SD claimed the series
vs. CIN, their 1st series win in their last 6 series played (1st
series win since winning 2 of 3 from May 28-30 @ HOU).

FEELIN’ SWEEPY If SD wins today, it’ll be their 1st
4-game series sweep since August 18-21, 2011 vs. Florida Marlins…the Padres have never
before completed a 4-game sweep of the Reds, and it would be their 5th sweep of the season
and their 1st since May 21-23 vs. SEA.

GONE STREAKINGSan Diego has won 3 straight games, which are their most consecutive
wins since they went on their 9-game win streak from May 14-23.
