The first of three matches against Eastern Conference foe this season
COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew continues its three-match road stretch when it travels to Harrison, New Jersey for a contest against New York City FC tomorrow, Saturday, May 22 [7:30 p.m. ET / Bally Sports Ohio / 97.1 FM The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English), ColumbusCrew.com (Spanish)]. The match will be played at Red Bull Arena, home of MLS side New York Red Bulls, due to venue unavailability at Yankee Stadium, the home stadium for NYCFC.
Last year, The Crew faced New York City FC three times during the regular season, posting a record of 2-1-0 while outscoring NYCFC 4-2. The match is set to be the 15th all-time regular-season meeting between the two sides, as well as the first of three regular-season contests between the clubs in 2021. In all, the Black & Gold has an all-time regular-season record of 5-5-4 against New York City FC dating back to 2015.
