MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN — The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Brandon Waddell from Triple-A St. Paul. Waddell, 26, appeared in two games for the Twins in April, pitching 3.0 scoreless innings of relief with five hits allowed and two walks.
To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned to right-handed pitcher Randy Dobnak to Triple-A St. Paul. Dobnak pitched seven games in relief for the Twins, going 0-3 with an 8.16 ERA (14.1 IP, 13 ER), four home runs allowed, three walks and 11 strikeouts.
