CHICAGO – Following today’s series finale vs. Texas, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Jonathan Stiever to the Schaumburg training facility.
Stiever, 23, made his season debut today against the Rangers, allowing three runs on four hits without recording an out.
The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to Tuesday’s series opener against Detroit.
