COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Josh Dunne from the taxi squad, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Dunne, 22, was signed by the Blue Jackets to a two-year entry level contract on March 14 and has posted two goals and an assist for three points and six penalty minutes in seven games with the Monsters this season. A native of O’Fallon, Missouri, he completed a three-year career at Clarkson University, posting 29-26-55 with 70 penalty minutes and a cumulative +24 plus/minus rating in 78 NCAA contests from 2018-21. Serving as the Golden Knights captain during his junior campaign, the 6-4, 210-pound forward collected 2-3-5, 26 penalty minutes and was +1 in 14 outings in 2020-21.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they visit the Dallas Stars. Puck drop from American Airlines Center is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
