Marcus Williamson grew up in the Buckeyes backyard in the Columbus, Ohio suburb of Westerville, Ohio.

He became a starter for the first time during the 2020 season and played well.

Williamson last week told all the media on the National Championship Zoom call that he is coming back for the 2021 season. In his words, ‘I am not ready to leave the Buckeyes”!






Ohio State Overview
• Appeared in all 14 games for the Buckeyes in 2019 and totaled seven tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery
• Was a key member of the special teams units
• Season-high four tackles against Indiana
• Had his 2018 season cut short due to injury
• Lettered as a true freshman for the Buckeyes in 2017 after playing in 10 games for the Big Ten Conference champions
• Enrolled into classes at Ohio State in January of 2017, one of nine high school seniors in the 2017 recruiting class to do so
• Is a two-time OSU Scholar-Athlete who is majoring in history

• He was considered one of the top cornerbacks nationally with a No. 14 rating by Scout and No. 24 by ESPN
• Also listed among the Top 150 players nationally with Scout’s No. 123 overall ranking tops
• Helped IMG to a second consecutive undefeated season in 2016 with a 12-0 mark, a No. 1 rating in the state of Florida and a No. 4 national rating
