Super Wild Card Weekend Game Preview: Los Angeles Rams (10-6) at Seattle Seahwaks (12-4)

Saturday, 4:40 pm ET

Lumen Field, Seattle

Seattle, Washington

TV: FOX

The Seattle Seahawks are the experts pick in this matchup. Notably because the teams played two weeks ago at the same location. The Rams looked bad and Jared Goff wasn’t sharp at QB. The result, Seattle won 20-9.

Speaking of Goff, he had thumb surgery on his throwing hand after that Week 16 loss to the Seahawks. And his availability today is a game time decision. Backup QB John Wolford will have to be ready.

Goff isn’t the only Rams star in question for this game. WR Cooper Kupp. He missed last week’s win over Arizona with COVID-19 protocol.

The Seahawks are one of the hottest teams in the NFC. They closed the season winning 6 of their last 7 games. They are also tough in the playoffs, especially at home. But the last team to beat them in the postseason at home was the 2004 wild card game by the then St. Louis Rams. Yes, same franchise, different city.
