The Cleveland Cavaliers have proven that they can win without second year All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving.

But when they’re playing one of the NBA’s top echelon teams in the Los Angeles Clippers, his services were definitely missed.

The Cavaliers played for the third straight game without Irving and it showed in a 105-89 loss.

Jamal Crawford, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin led the Clippers to their 43rd win of the season. They lead the NBA’s Pacific Division by 9 games over the surprising Golden State Warriors.

Prior to last night’s game, Los Angeles had not won a game in Cleveland dating back 10 losses in a row to 2002.

Crawford scored 24 points,  Paul dished out 15 assists and  Griffin scored 16 and pulled down 11 rebounds.

The Cavs were led by rookie Dion Waiters with 17 points.
