ATHENS, Ohio— The Ohio football program’s 2025 Homecoming game is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The Bobcats’ 2025 Homecoming opponent is the Northern Illinois Huskies, marking the team’s third Mid-American Conference matchup of the season. The game can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System, with Marty Bannister and Rob Cornelius on the call. The television platform will be announced at a later date.
Ohio and Northern Illinois first met in 1968 and have a series record of 11-14. The two teams last faced off in 2023 and this marks the pair’s last time clashing as MAC foes.
The following week, the Bobcats will host the West Virginia Mountaineers at their home opener. The Sept. 6 matchup is sold out; fans are encouraged to visit SeatGeek.com for potential availability. For the remaining five home games, tickets can be purchased at OhioBobcats.com/Tickets.
