Crew SC players and staff to appear on-stage for socially distanced greeting to supporters
COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC on Friday announced that members of the media are invited to attend the Club’s 2021 Season Kickoff party – a socially distant, drive-in event exclusively for Crew Season Ticket Members on Sunday, April 11 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. ET in the South parking lot at Historic Crew Stadium (One Black & Gold Blvd).
Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. ET and credentialed media will be permitted in for the event that features a 12:00 p.m. ET replay of the 2020 MLS Cup, MLS Cup photo opportunities, live music with DJ Leek, food trucks, a 40% discount on select Crew SC gear and a car flag giveaway. Sanitizing stations will be present, masks will be required for all individuals when not in their vehicle and vehicles will have a parking space between each other.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. ET, Crew SC First Team players and staff will appear on-stage for a socially distanced greeting to supporters in attendance. Event interviews will be limited to opportunities with Season Ticket Members on-site. Crew SC Communications will issue its weekly media schedule on Sunday, April 11 for upcoming virtual player and Caleb Porter media availability.
