Don Waddell was named the president
of hockey operations, general manager and
alternate governor for the Columbus Blue
Jackets on May 29, 2024.

He oversees all hockey operations activities for the club.

In his first season as president and general
manager, the Blue Jackets finished with a 40-33-9 record (89 points) and
fourth-place finish in the Metropolitan Division in 2024-25 and posted the
largest win and point improvement in the NHL from 2023-24 (27-43-12,
66 points).
