LOVING THE LEFTIES: The Pirates are scheduled to face their first left-handed starter of the young season tonight…Jacob
Stallings hit .324 (11-for-34) against southpaws in 2020 and holds a career average of .309 (30-for-97) vs. LHP…Kevin
Newman is 2-for-3 off lefties this season and has produced a .297 (51-for-172) average in his career against southpaws.
TREVOR ON THE CA-HILL: In his last five appearances with the Giants during the 2020 season (all in relief), Trevor Cahill
did not allow an earned run in 5.0 innings of work…In his six starts last season, he was charged with two earned runs or less
