Kent State Men’s Basketball News: Davis, Sullinger, and Hornbeak Win All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND – A senior trio of Flashes have won All-MAC awards for the 2024-2025 season. VonCameron Davis has been named All-MAC First Team, Jalen Sullinger has been named All-MAC Second Team, and Cli’Ron Hornbeak has been named to the MAC All-Defensive Team. The conference announced their season awards on Wednesday, March 12.

Davis led the Kent State roster this season in average points per game entering the MAC Tournament at 15.2, and in steals at 1.3. He led the Flashes in scoring 16 times posting double-digits 23 times. When he takes the floor at the MAC Touranment he will be the all-time leading Golden Flashes  He and fellow senior Sullinger are 14th and 13th respectively on the all-time Kent State scoring list. Sullinger also led the Flashes in scoring 23 times this season with a trio of game he dropped 30 or more points in. He remains fourth in KSU history in made threes and attempted at 225-579 entering the MAC Tournament. Cli’Ron Hornbeak led the blue and gold in total blocks with 41 and in average blocks per game all season. He is first in program history in all-time field goal percentage entering the weekend at .630 having gone 259-411.
