BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES
- Columbus split the 2024-25 season series against Vegas with a 1-1-0 record after tonight’s regulation loss after each team won their respective road contest.
- CBJ had their three-game home point streak (2-0-1) against the Golden Knights snapped. The home team failed to record a point for the first time in the past eight games of the all-time series (5-1-2).
- CBJ are now 8-2-1 in the last 11 home games in 2024-25. The team has recorded points in 15 of the past 18 home contests (12-3-3) as well as 20 of the last 24 played at home (16-4-4).
- The Blue Jackets are 20-7-4 (44 points) at home in 2024-25, posting the second-most points and wins (21, 2016-17) through the first 31 homes games of a single season in CBJ history.
- The Jackets were shutout at home for the first time since Oct. 28, 2023 vs. the NY Islanders (66 home games ago).
- The club has recorded 213 goals (not including SO goals) through 65 games this season. It’s the most in franchise history through 65 games played, surpassing the 210 scored in the 2021-22 season.
- Columbus finished with a season-high 31 hits against Vegas, surpassing the 30 hits recorded on Dec. 1 at Chicago.
- Tonight’s attendance was a sellout crowd of 18,823. It’s the fifth sellout in the past six contests at Nationwide Arena since Jan. 25, 2025.
BLUE JACKETS PLAYER NOTES
- LW Christian Fischer made his CBJ debut tonight, posting four hits on 9:39 time on ice. He previously tallied 1-6-7 in 45 contests with Detroit this season.
- RW Mathieu Olivier led Columbus with six hits on 16:54 of ice time.
