DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the Nutter Center on Wednesday night as the Raiders welcome Purdue Fort Wayne to town for a Wednesday night machup, with tipoff set for 7 p.m. Fans can follow the action several ways – watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio television feeds.
Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry 101.5 HANK FM. Just search “101.5 HANK FM” on any of the three apps for Raider Basketball.

Brandon Noel’s potential game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer was waved off after review, and Wright State fell 75-72 at Robert Morris Sunday afternoon in Horizon League action. Noel finished with a game-best 16 points to lead four Raiders in double figures, adding nine rebounds, four assists and a block, while Andrew Welage turned in a season-high 14 points as he connected on four three-pointers. Jack Doumbia filled his stat line as well, notching 11 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals. Keaton Norris was the final Raider in double figures, tallying eight of his 10 points in the first half thanks in part to a pair of three-pointers.

Alex Huibregtse enters Sunday’s game at RMU with 990 career points in the Green & Gold – just 10 points shy of becoming the 39th member of Wright State’s 1,000 point club.

Keaton Norris returned to the Raider lineup Thursday against Oakland after missing the previous three games. Norris tallied a career-high 14 points, connecting on four three-pointers, also a new career best. He followed that up with a second-straight double digit effort on Sunday with 10 points against Robert Morris. He finished the week averaging 12 points per game while shooting 44 percent overall from the floor with a 60 percent mark from deep, adding seven assists, four steals and three rebounds.
FORT WAYNE FACTS
Wright State leads the short series 12-6 against Purdue Fort Wayne, with both teams winning on each other’s home floor last season. Nine of the 14 all-time matchups came back during the 1980’s. The Raiders have won five of the last eight meetings dating back to the 2003-04 season.

– Purdue Fort Wayne is 13-6 overall and 6-2 in the Horizon League, coming into Wednesday on a three-game winning streak. PFW is 9-0 at home and holds a 3-5 mark on the road (1-2 Horizon road).

Andrew Welage connected on four three-pointers Sunday against Robert Morris on the way to a season-best 14 points. It was his second double-digit scoring game of the season, joining a 12-point scoring output at Oakland in early December when he also hit four three-pointers.
