DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball team wraps up its non-conference slate with a trip north to take on Eastern Michigan on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m., and fans can follow the action several ways – via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play radio feed.

LAST TIME OUT
Three players finished with double-digit scoring nights as Jack Doumbia and Brandon Noel tallied double-doubles but it wasn’t enough as Wright State fell 80-70 at home inside the Nutter Center to Youngstown State on Wednesday night. Doumbia finished with a game-best 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, while Noel notched 10 points and 10 rebounds of his own for his fourth double-double of the campaign and Alex Huibregtse tallied 15 points as the third Raider in double figures. Solomon Callaghan just missed double figures himself, chipping in nine points off the bench, while Logan Woods logged eight points and Keaton Norris added seen points and four assists.
EYING THE EAGLES
Eastern Michigan was picked to finish ninth when the MAC released its preseason poll in late October. The Raiders and Eagles have never faced off prior to Saturday’s meeting.
HONORARY HORIZON LEAGUERS
Saturday’s contest against the Raiders will be Eastern Michigan’s sixth game against 11-team Horizon League this season, with Eastern Michigan currently 2-3 against the HL overall and 0-2 at home. The Eagles played three straight HL road games at IU Indy (W), Cleveland State (L) and Oakland (W) in mid-November, and hosted Detroit Mercy (L) to close the first month. Eastern Michigan is coming off a home loss to Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday night. To add to the common opponent theme, Eastern Michigan played Central State in an exhibition and also traveled to former HL foe Loyola Chicago (L) in early December.
