- Will Howard finished his 45th career start with 201 passing yards and two touchdowns after completing 22 passes on 26 attempts.
- Howard went deep into the second quarter without throwing an incompletion. He completed his first 14 pass attempts before throwing an incomplete jump ball in an attempt to score.
- Howard completed 80 percent of his passes, the sixth time he’s done that this year. He is the only Buckeye QB to have six games of 80 percent or better passing in a career.
- Howard scored on a one-yard rush to provide the final score in the fourth quarter.
- He now has accounted for 101 career touchdowns — 74 passing, 26 rushing and one receiving.
