ROOKIE QUARTERBACK SUCCESS
Between Washington’s Jayden Daniels (five wins), Denver’s Bo Nix (four) and Chicago’s Caleb Williams (four), rookie quarterbacks have combined for 13 wins this season, tied with 1987 (13 combined wins) for the second-most by rookie quarterbacks in the first seven weeks of a season in NFL history, trailing only 2012 (14).
The 2024 season can become the third in NFL history in which three rookie quarterbacks each had five-or-more wins, joining 2012 (Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden and Russell Wilson) and 2018 (Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield).
Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, leads rookies with nine touchdown passes. Over his past two games, he has totaled at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 120-or-higher in each game.
With a passer rating of 120-or-higher at Washington on Sunday (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS), he will become the third rookie quarterback all-time to reach the mark in three consecutive games, joining Dak Prescott (2016) and Russell Wilson (2012).

With a passer rating of 100-or-higher, Williams would become the seventh rookie quarterback ever to reach the mark in four consecutive games and the first since Deshaun Watson in 2017.
With a touchdown pass on Sunday, Williams will become the third quarterback to be selected No.1 overall with 10 touchdown passes in his first seven career games, joining Baker Mayfield (2018) and Jameis Winston (2015).
The Washington Commanders are 5-2 this season behind quarterback Jayden Daniels. If Daniels starts on Sunday and Washington wins, they will become the fourth team since 1950 to win six of their first eight games of a season with a rookie starting quarterback, joining the 2016 Dallas Cowboys, 2011 Cincinnati Bengals and 2004 Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bo Nix has led Denver to a 4-3 record this season and can become the first Broncos rookie starting quarterback ever to win five games. Nix ranks third among all rookies in 2024 with 255 rushing yards and has totaled over 60 rushing yards in each of his last two games.
With 60 rushing yards against Carolina on Sunday (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS), Nix will become the sixth rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era to record at least 60 rushing yards in three consecutive games, joining Lamar Jackson (five consecutive games in 2018), Josh Allen (three in 2018), Bobby Douglas (three in 1969), Jalen Hurts (three in 2020) and Vince Young (three in 2006).
RAVENS ON A ROLL
The Baltimore Ravens lead the NFL with 1,476 rushing yards this season and have totaled at least 150 rushing yards in each of their first seven games. They also lead the NFL in total offense (461.4 yards per game) and tie for the lead in scoring (31.1 points per game).
With 124 rushing yards at Cleveland on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, CBS), Baltimore will become the fourth team since 1980 with at least 1,600 rushing yards in its first eight games of a season, joining the 1984 Chicago Bears (1,677 rushing yards), 2006 Atlanta Falcons (1,641) and 2019 Baltimore Ravens (1,639).

With 150 rushing yards, Baltimore will become the first team since the 1960 Green Bay Packers to record at least 150 rushing yards in each of their first eight games of a season.
The Ravens have scored at least 20 points and totaled at least 375 yards of offense in each of their seven games this season. If they reach the marks again on Sunday, they will become the fourth team in NFL history to score at least 20 points and record at least 375 total yards in each of their first eight games of a season, joining the 2013 Denver Broncos, 2007 New England Patriots and 2000 St. Louis Rams.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson leads all quarterbacks with a 118.0 passer rating and 455 rushing yards this season. He has totaled at least 40 rushing yards in each game this season and a passer rating of 110-or-higher in each of his past five.
With 45 rushing yards on Sunday, Jackson will become the first quarterback in NFL history with at least 500 rushing yards in seven consecutive seasons and the second quarterback ever with at least 500 rushing yards in seven career seasons, joining Cam Newton (seven).
Jackson can also become the second quarterback ever to record at least 40 rushing yards in each of his team’s first eight games of a season, joining Michael Vick in 2006.
Running back Derrick Henry leads the league with 873 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns (eight rushing, two receiving) this season. With 127 rushing yards on Sunday – a mark he has reached in four of his last five games – Henry will become the fourth player in NFL history to record at least 1,000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in his team’s first eight games of a season, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Jim Brown (1958 and 1963), Terrell Davis (1998) and O.J. Simpson (1975).

CHIEFS & MAHOMES KEEP ON WINNING
The Kansas City Chiefs (6-0) are the last remaining unbeaten team in the league. With a victory at Las Vegas on Sunday (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS), they will become the seventh reigning Super Bowl champions to win each of their first seven games, joining the 2015 and 2019 New England Patriots, 2011 Green Bay Packers, 2007 Indianapolis Colts, 1998 Denver Broncos and 1990 San Francisco 49ers.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a .792 winning percentage [95-25 (80-22 in regular season, 15-3 in postseason)] as a starting quarterback in his first eight NFL seasons.
With a win on Sunday, Mahomes will surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (80 wins) and Ben Roethlisberger (80) for the third-most regular-season wins by a starting quarterback in his first eight seasons in NFL history. Only Tom Brady (86 wins) and Russell Wilson (86) have more.
Mahomes can also surpass Wilson (95 wins) for the second-most wins, including postseason, by a starting quarterback in his first eight seasons in NFL history. Only Brady (100 wins) has more.

Since entering the NFL in 2017, Mahomes ranks second among all players with 29,813 passing yards in 102 games. With 187 passing yards on Sunday, he will surpass Matthew Stafford (109 games) as the fastest player to reach 30,000 career passing yards in NFL history.
JARED, JOSH, JORDAN & JOE
Detroit quarterback Jared Goff ranks second in the NFL with a 111.5 passer rating this season. Over his last three games, he has recorded an 85.3 completion percentage (58 of 68 pass attempts), seven touchdowns, no interceptions and a 153.1 passer rating, with a passer rating of 140-or-higher in each game.
This Sunday against Tennessee (1 p.m. ET, FOX), Goff can become the first quarterback in NFL history to record a passer rating of 140-or-higher in four consecutive games.
Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen has 12 touchdowns with no interceptions on 189 pass attempts this season. He is the only player in the league with at least 100 pass attempts and no interceptions.
With at least 11 pass attempts and no interceptions at Seattle on Sunday (4:05 p.m. ET, FOX), Allen will become the fifth quarterback in NFL history with at least 200 pass attempts and no interceptions in his team’s first eight games of a season, joining Jason Campbell (2008), Brian Hoyer (2016), Bernie Kosar (1991) and Alex Smith (2017).
Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love is tied for second in the league with 15 touchdown passes this season and has recorded at least two touchdown passes in each of his five games in 2024. Since Week 15 of the 2023 season, Love has recorded multiple touchdown passes in nine consecutive games.
With two touchdown passes at Jacksonville on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, FOX), Love – who will be 25 years and 360 days old – will be the fourth quarterback under the age of 26 with at least two touchdown passes in 10-or-more consecutive games, joining Patrick Mahomes (14 consecutive games from Week 6, 2018 – Week 3, 2019), as well as Pro Football Hall of Famers Brett Favre (12 games from Week 10, 1994 – Week 4, 1995) and Dan Marino (10 games from Weeks 1-10, 1984).

KYREN’S TOUCHDOWN STREAK
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams ties for the league-lead with eight rushing touchdowns and has recorded a rushing touchdown in each of his first six games this season. Since Week 15 of 2023, Williams has recorded a rushing touchdown in nine consecutive games overall.
With a rushing touchdown against Minnesota on Thursday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video), Williams will become the seventh player in NFL history and first since Dalvin Cook in 2020 to record a rushing touchdown in each of his first seven games of a season.

Williams can also become the fourth player since 2000 to record a rushing touchdown in 10 consecutive games, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson (18 consecutive games from 2004-05), Priest Holmes (11 games in 2002) and Jonathan Taylor (11 games in 2021).
Williams – who will be 24 years and 59 days old on Thursday – can join Jonathan Taylor (11 games in 2021) as the only players ever under the age of 25 to record a rushing touchdown in 10 consecutive games.
EAGLES FLYING HIGH
Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley ranks second in the NFL with 761 scrimmage yards this season and is the only player in the league with at least 115 scrimmage yards in five games.
With 115 scrimmage yards at Cincinnati on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, CBS), Barkley, who signed with the Eagles this offseason, will become the first player in NFL history to record at least 115 scrimmage yards in six of his first seven games with a team.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown has recorded at least five receptions, 85 receiving yards and a touchdown reception in each of his three games this season. If he reaches the marks again on Sunday, Brown will become the third player in NFL history to record at least 85 receiving yards and a touchdown reception in each of his first four games of a season, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Marvin Harrison (1999) and Randy Moss (2007).

Last week, Philadelphia recorded eight sacks and allowed only 119 yards, their most sacks in a single game since 2022 and the fewest yards they have allowed in a game since 2018. In Week 6, they totaled five sacks and allowed 244 yards.
The Eagles can become the first team since 1997 (Philadelphia, three consecutive games from Weeks 7-9) to record at least five sacks and hold their opponent to 250 yards or less in three consecutive games.
LAMB & JEFFERSON MOVING UP RECEPTIONS RANKS
Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was selected No. 17 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, while Minnesota wide receiver Justin Jefferson was selected five spots later at No. 22 overall. Since 2020, Lamb ranks fifth among all players with 427 receptions and Jefferson ranks sixth with 425.
