Tickets are available for Games 6 and 7 at Dodgers.com/Postseason
LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers return to Los Angeles for Game 6 tomorrow, and an if necessary, Game 7 on Monday against the New York Mets during the National League Championship Series (NLCS). Both matchups are scheduled to begin at 5:08 p.m. PT. Tickets remain available for each game at Dodgers.com/Postseason. Fans are also encouraged to check the Postseason ticket inventory available on the Dodgers’ trusted secondary market partner, Vivid Seats.
The Dodgers and Mets split Games 1 and 2 at Dodger Stadium earlier this week. As the series shifted to Queens, the Dodgers claimed victory in Game 3 with an 8-0 shutout victory, followed by a dominant 10-2 win in Game 4. Although the Mets downed the Dodgers, 12-6, last night in New York, the Boys in Blue still hold a 3-2 lead in the NLCS as they look to secure their fourth trip to World Series in the last eight years.
Los Angeles claimed victory in the season series over the Mets, besting New York 4-2 over six games, which included a three-game sweep in Queens from May 28-29. The Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres in the NLDS, 3-2, behind two consecutive shutout victories in Games 4 and 5, to advance to the NLCS. After defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 in a three-game Wild Card series, the Mets went on to beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS, 3-1. This is the first time the Dodgers and Mets have met in the Postseason since 2015, and the first time the two clubs have faced off in the NLCS since 1988, when the Dodgers eventually went on to claim their sixth World Series title.
The 1981 World Series champion shortstop and three-time All-Star, Bill Russell, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Game 6 of the NLCS. Rhythm and blues singer Angie Fisher will sing the national anthem. Should the series advance to Game 7, current Dodger broadcaster and 1988 World Series MVP, Orel Hershiser, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and the national anthem will be sung by mariachi artist Julian Torres.
New dishes will be served at Dodger Stadium during the Championship Series, including a loaded BBQ baked potato stuffed with burnt end brisket (Left Field Plaza, Reserve Level Sec. 22), a colossal beef kabob (Field Level Sec. 45, Reserve Level Sec. 4) and a ramen burger featuring compressed ramen noodles and caramelized onions (Field Level Sec. 22 and 23, Top Deck Sec. 4). For more information, fans can visit Guest Services stands throughout the ballpark.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early with auto gates opening three hours prior to first pitch, at 2:08 p.m. for Game 6 and 7. Stadium gates will open two and a half hours before first pitch at 2:38 p.m. ahead of both matchups. The Dodger Stadium Express from Union Station will begin operation 120 minutes before first pitch and services will begin 150 minutes before first pitch from the South Bay. Both operations will run 45 minutes after the final out or 20 minutes after the end of any post-game event.
This Postseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will conduct its 50/50 raffle at every home game. LADF’s Homebase Store in Centerfield Plaza has “Buy It Now” autographed memorabilia and branded merchandise including $10 t-shirts and bobbleheads. Fans can also purchase a personalized ribbon board message at Dodgers.com/ribbonboards. LADF is continuing to make a “Lasting Impact for Los Angeles” and encouraging fans to visit Dodgers.com/Give. In return, donors who give $50 or more will receive a limited-edition silver LADF Logo pin, and for those that give $100 or more will receive a limited-edition gold LADF logo pin.
