Randall finished with 302 passing yards and two touchdowns, leading San Diego to its FCS record-tying 39th consecutive league win, 27-13 against Butler. He competed 32-of-41 passes on the day, averaging 7.4 yards per pass. With the Toreros ahead 27-13 and with 9:13 remaining in the game, Randall marshalled San Diego onto a 16-play, 82-yard drive that drained all 9:13 off the clock, securing the win. Earlier in the quarter, he led San Diego on a 13-play, 65-yard drive that consumed 7:24 off the clock, connecting with Derek Kline for the game-securing touchdown.

Carr had an interception and a team-leading seven tackles as Drake picked up a 17-6 victory against Valparaiso, Saturday. Carr’s interception came in Valparaiso territory and his 15-yard return set up Drake at the Valparaiso 18-yard line late in the third quarter. Five plays later Drake scored the game’s final touchdown to seal the victory. He also had two pass breakups to lead a defensive that held Valparaiso to 216 offensive yards and 135 passing yards.

Niesner averaged 45.0 yards on eight punts in Valparaiso’s loss at Drake, Saturday. He had a pair of 50-yarders in his outing, including 54-yard punt in the opener quarter and pinned Drake inside its own two-yard line. His second big punt went 50 yards and flipped the field from the Valparaiso 24 to the Drake 26-yard line. Niesner saw three punts end inside the 20-yard line. .
