Luna Lee, Tokimonsta to join in special pregame event in Centerfield Plaza
LOS ANGELES – K-pop group RIIZE will offer a pregame performance at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday as part of the pregame festivities for Korean Heritage Night, presented by Jinro. Cross-cultural musician Luna Lee will also perform in the Centerfield Plaza, and Torrance-born DJ/record producer Tokimonsta will deliver the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Dodgers’ 7:10 p.m. game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
RIIZE has emerged as a rising K-Pop sensation following the September 2023 release of the album Get a Guitar. The group’s name is a combination of the words “rise” and “realize.” Their Dodger Stadium performance comes on the heels of Monday’s RIIZE Fan-Con at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Born in Seoul, Lee will return for her fourth performance at Dodger Stadium, dating back to 2017. She specializes in the gayageum, a traditional Korean string instrument she plays with a wide repertoire that includes such 20th– and 21st-century artists as Jimi Hendrix and Lil Nas. Lee has more than 220,000 subscribers to her YouTube Channel.
Over the past decade and often collaborating with high-profile names including Anderson .Paak, Tokimonsta has helped define the sound of modern dance and beat music. Her futuristic compositions are embedded in the worlds of hip-hop instrumentalism, pop, R&B, soul, house and IDM.
The Korean Heritage Night ticket package, which includes an exclusive souvenir item, is sold out. However, all ticketholders for Wednesday can enjoy the evening’s performances. For information about upcoming special event ticket packages at Dodger Stadium, please visit dodgers.com/promotions.
