Hawkeyes’ Kenlin, Wolverines’ Heiskell and Gophers’ Ramler earn final weekly conference honors of 2020-21 season

Gymnast of the Week

Lexy Ramler, Minnesota

Sr. – St. Michael, Minn. – Winona – Major: Entrepreneurial Management & Human Resources

• Won the all-around title for the seventh straight week (39.725) in a March 13 meet at Illinois

• Secured the beam title with a perfect 10, the third perfect score of her career on beam and fourth overall

• Also placed second on floor (9.925), second on bars (9.925) and fourth on vault (9.875)

• Collects her 18th career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award and sixth this season

• Last Minnesota Gymnast of the Week: Lexy Ramler (March 8, 2021)

Event Specialist of the Week

Abby Heiskell, Michigan

Jr. – Charlotte, N.C. – Marvin Ridge – Major: Applied Exercise Science

• Earned a trio of top-three finishes to help No 4. Michigan to a program-record score (198.100) in its March 12 win at Maryland

• Captured a share of the vault title with a career-best 9.975

• Also tied for third on beam (9.900) and uneven bars (9.875)

• Earns her first career Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week award

• Last Michigan Event Specialist of the Week: Gabby Wilson (March 3, 2020)

Freshman of the Week

Adeline Kenlin, Iowa

Iowa City, Iowa – West Branch – Major: Sport & Recreation Management

• Won her first career all-around title (39.500) and finished in the top five in all four events in Iowa’s win Sunday at Nebraska 

• Posted a new career high and tied a school record in her win on the beam (9.975) 

• Tied her career high on vault with a score of 9.850 to tie for fourth

• Collects her fourth career Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
