Darlington Joephillip Nagbe (born July 19, 1990) is a professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for the Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. Born in Liberia, he played for the United States national team.
Nagbe spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Portland Timbers, winning the MLS Cup with the club in 2015, before being acquired by Atlanta United following the 2017 season.
At the end of the 2023 regular season, having become the club captain, Nagbe was re-signed by Columbus to a contract extension through the 2025 campaign, with an option for another year.

COLUMBUS – Ahead of the 2024 Major League Soccer season, the Columbus Crew preseason schedule features training at the OhioHealth Performance Center and sessions in Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Santa Barbara, Calif.
Crew players are set to report on Jan. 20 for entrance physicals and testing before training in Columbus on Jan. 22-23. The team will then train in Port St. Lucie from Jan. 23-Feb. 2.
The Black & Gold return to Columbus and will train at the OhioHealth Performance Center from Feb. 3-7. The second away leg of preseason will be in Santa Barbara, Calif. from Feb. 7-17.
Information on preseason media availabilities will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.
