• Following her win at the AIG Women’s Open – her third of the season and second major championship – Vu became the fourth American player to reach the No. 1 position in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings since its inception of 2006
• Vu is the first American woman since Juli Inkster in 1999 to win multiple majors in the same year; only five different American women have done it in the last 40 years

• Vu is the third player since the inception of the LPGA Tour to enter a year with no career LPGA Tour wins to go on to win multiple majors that season

• Vu also became just the third American woman in the last 30 years to win a major championship by six strokes or more
  • Dottie Pepper (1999 Chevron Championship, six-shot margin) and Cristie Kerr (2010, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, 12 shots)

Lydia Ko (Rolex Rankings No. 6)

“I had my first LPGA win in Vancouver and I think it’s where everything kind of started. Who knows, if I didn’t win or play that event maybe I might have not got the opportunities along the way. Yeah, it’s always going to be a very special place for me. I said maybe like if I win like a fourth time I would be like an honorary Canadian by then.” – Ko on returning to the Vancouver area for the CPKC Women’s Open

• This is Ko’s 10th appearance at this event
  • She has won three times, including back-to-back years in 2012 and 2013 with an additional victory in 2015
    • Her wins in 2012 and 2015 both came at Vancouver Golf & Country Club

Celine Boutier (Rolex Rankings No. 3)

• This is her fourth start at the CPKC Women’s Open
  • She finished T25 in 2019, the best of her previous three starts
  • She missed the cut in 2022
• This is Boutier’s 17th event of the year
  • She has three additional top-10 finishes along with her three wins
    • She earned her first major championship at The Amundi Evian Championship
      • She followed up that win with another at the FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open presented by Trust Golf, becoming the first player to win back-to-back tournaments since Jin Young Ko at the 2021 Cognizant Founders Cup and BMW Ladies Championship
    • She became the first player since 2016 to win any major championship and the tournament after and the 14th player in LPGA Tour history to do so
    • She is one of two players to reach three wins on Tour this season along with Vu
  • Boutier leads the LPGA Tour in scrambling percentage and is second in strokes gained around the green per round

• This is her seventh season on Tour

Jin Young Ko (Rolex Rankings No. 4)

• This is Ko’s fourth start at the CPKC Women’s Open
  • She set the 72-hole scoring record for this event in her 2019 win (262)
  • She also became the sixth different player since 1992 to win an LPGA Tour event without carding a bogey in her 2019 victory
    • Her performance also contributed to her record-breaking 114 consecutive holes player without a bogey in 2019 (since 2011), which started at the third hole in round three at the 2019 AIG Women’s Open and ended on the eighth hole in the first round of the Cambia Portland Classic
  • She also finished T23 in 2018 and missed the cut last season
  • In her three previous starts, she has recorded eight of 10 rounds in the 60s with a total score to par of -35
• This is her 14th start of the 2023 LPGA Tour season
  • She has two wins at the HSBC Women’s World Championship and Cognizant Founders Cup and three additional top-10 finishes
  • She has only finished inside the top-15 once since her win at the Cognizant Founders Cup in May
