U.S. Team Points Standings

Captain Stacy Lewis; Assistant Captains Morgan Pressel, Natalie Gulbis and Angela Stanford

 

Notable updates for the week of Aug. 14:

  • The two players currently qualified via the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are Rose Zhang (No. 31) and Angel Yin (No. 32); Ally Ewing (No. 34), Andrea Lee (No. 43) and Cheyenne Knight (No. 44) are right behind
  • Megan Khang mathematically clinched a spot on the U.S. Team via the points standings, joining Lilia Vu, Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz
  • With her win at the AIG Women’s Open, Lilia Vu moved to the top of the U.S. points standings; she was already locked into the team
  • After her tie for ninth at the AIG Women’s Open, Andrea Lee is 12.5 points out of the seventh and final automatic qualifying spot
  • Ally Ewing tied for sixth at the AIG Women’s Open and moved into ninth in the U.S. points standings, just 25.5 points out of the seventh and final automatic qualifying spot

The U.S. Team will comprise the top seven players in the U.S. Solheim Cup standings, the top two players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings not already eligible, and three captain’s picks. The team will be finalized on Aug. 28, 2023, following the CP Women’s Open.

 

Team Europe Points Standings

Captain Suzann Pettersen; Vice Captains Laura Davies, Caroline Martens and Anna Nordqvist

 

Notable updates for the week of Aug. 14:

  • The six players currently qualified via the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are Charley Hull (No. 9), Leona Maguire (No. 14), Georgia Hall (No. 16), Linn Grant (No. 19), Carlota Ciganda (No. 33) and Anna Nordqvist (No. 37); Madelene Sagstrom (No. 42) and Gemma Dryburgh (No. 50) are right behind
  • With her tie for 16th at the AIG Women’s Open, Celine Boutier moved to No. 1 in the European points standings, 2.15 points ahead of Maja Stark in second
  • Maja Stark is in the second automatic qualifying spot, just .16 of a point ahead of Linn Grant in third
