EVANSTON, Ill. — Select 2023 football kickoff times and television designations were announced on Wednesday by the Big Ten Conference and its broadcast partners.
Northwestern will open its 2023 campaign on Sunday, September 3 at 11 am CT against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in Piscataway, New Jersey, in a game broadcast on CBS. The Wildcats home opener on Saturday, September 9, against UTEP will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT from Ryan Field. The following weekend, the ‘Cats travel to Durham to take on Duke at 2:30 p.m. CT, with coverage on ACC Network.
The Wildcats will welcome the Howard Bison on October 7 during Homecoming weekend in Evanston, in a game kicking off at 2 p.m. CT. A list of known game times and television broadcast information is below:
Season tickets for the 2023 football season at Ryan Field are now on-sale by visiting NUSports.com or calling 888-GO-PURPLE. The Wildcats’ 2023 home schedule features Big Ten matchups against Minnesota, Penn State, Maryland and Purdue, as well as a return to Wrigley Field when the ‘Cats host Iowa in the ‘Wildcats Classic’ on November 4th.
Northwestern season ticket holders will have priority access to purchase tickets for the Wildcats Classic at Wrigley Field in November.
Sept. 3 – Northwestern at Rutgers, CBS, 11 a.m. CT

Sept. 16 – Northwestern at Duke, ACC Network, 2:30 p.m. CT
