Lun Lun (Chinese: 伦伦) is a female giant panda at Zoo Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. The panda, now 242 pounds (110 kg), was born at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China on August 25, 1997. Her original name, Hua Hua, was changed to Lun Lun by her sponsor, the Taiwanese rock star Su Huilun.
As of summer 2023, Lun Lun has given birth to Mei Lan (male 2006), Xi Lan (male 2008), Po (female 2010), twins Mei Lun & Mei Huan (female 2013) and twins Ya Lun & Xi Lun (female 2016).

Second Summer (also known as “Indian Summer”)
Second Summer (also known as “Indian Summer”) is a period of warm weather following a cold spell or a hard frost. It can occur between St. Martin’s Day (November 11) and November 20, although the Almanac adheres to the proverb, “If All Saints’ brings out winter, St. Martin’s brings out Indian summer.” As for the origin of the term, some say it comes from the Narragansett people, who believed that the condition was caused by a warm wind sent from the court of their southwestern god, Cautantowwit.
