COLUMBUS – Leagues Cup today announced kickoff times for all Group Stage matches that will see the Columbus Crew play host to MLS expansion side St. Louis CITY SC at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 23 and Liga MX powerhouse Club América at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, July 31 at Lower.com Field.
The match against Club América is included as part of current 2023 Crew Season Ticket Memberships and a variety of partial plans, including a three-match pack that includes both Leagues Cup matches in addition to the May 13 match against Orlando City SC. Single-game tickets for the match against St. Louis are now on-sale. The match is additionally available via several partial plans.
Season Ticket Memberships for the Crew’s 2023 MLS regular season are currently on sale. Memberships includes benefits such as a subscription to Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass, exclusive, member-only events, a discount at the Crew Shop, monthly, interest free payment plans, the ability to purchase discounted parking, pre-sale access to all events at Lower.com Field, Historic Crew Stadium and FirstEnergy Stadium, and a dedicated account manager and service representative. Fans in over 100 countries and regions will be able to watch all 77 Leagues Cup matches on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that is available on smart TVs, streaming devices, Apple devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and the web at tv.apple.com.
In addition, TelevisaUnivision, FOX Sports, TSN and RDS will be the linear broadcast home for 15 group stage matches in the United States and Canada.
Beginning this year, Major League Soccer and LIGA MX will pause their respective league seasons in the summer and compete in Leagues Cup, an official Concacaf competition to be played across the U.S. and Canada. The inaugural edition will see all 47 clubs (18 from LIGA MX, 29 from MLS) compete in a World Cup-style tournament from July 21 – August 19, 2023. The champion and the second and third-place finishers will qualify for the Concacaf Champions League and have an opportunity to earn a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup.
