Series of Season Ticket Holder presales begin Tuesday; Remaining tickets to go on sale to the public Friday
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Following the announcement that the State of Ohio approved a request of variance to allow 1,953 fans, or 10 percent of Nationwide Arena capacity, to attend Columbus Blue Jackets home games this season, the club announced today on-sale details for tickets to upcoming games beginning with the Tuesday, March 2nd contest between the Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings.
Season Ticket Holders (STHs) will receive priority access to single game tickets before the public on-sale through a series of restricted and unrestricted pre-sales beginning Tuesday, February 23 and running through Thursday, February 25. During the restricted presale period, Full STHs may purchase up to four tickets to four games; Half STHs may purchase up to four tickets to two games; and Quarter STHs may purchase up to four tickets to one game. Season Ticket Holders will receive an e-mail today indicating the timing of their specific restricted presale window.
If tickets are still available after the restricted presales are complete, a series of unrestricted presales will be offered to Season Ticket Holders starting upon the conclusion of the restricted presales. The unrestricted presales will be conducted in the same order as the restricted presales with the addition of mini-plan holders and group leaders but will not limit the number of tickets and games available for purchase. Season Ticket Holders will receive a separate e-mail on Wednesday, February 24 indicating the timing of their unrestricted presale window.
Any remaining tickets after both season ticket holder presales are complete will be offered to subscribers of the club’s Flag Bearer newsletter on Thursday, February 25 at 3 p.m. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 26 at 9 a.m. The Flag Bearer and public on-sales will include an exclusive 48-hour purchasing window for Ohio residents.
